Nokia Roadshow Day 2

The not-too-long awaited Day 2 arrived after the first day.

Met Wanjun for lunch at PS. Supposed to be there at 12. In the end, reached at 1230. She told me the fish soup at the food court was nice. Kaixin came to meet us too, since she was early. Yup, so lunch was good. I like fish soup!!

And at 1310, we walked back to Meridien to meet Eileen and the rest. When we approached the rest, they were all like looking at us lah. They gave us the “Wah! So late! You think you dua pai meh?” look. For fuck? Siao ah! Late 10 minutes also must look until like that. Dig your eyes out ah! Please lah! At least we’re hardworking leh. Able to get like 20+ people EACH to sign up for the adventure. You all leh? 3? 6?

Nokia Roadshow Day 1

Thanks to Wanjun, I got a temp job at a very attractive pay! Hehe. And of course, it’s something I like doing.

And I got Eileen and Kaixin to work together as well. Haha. Good things must share.

Hard-earned 50 bucks

From now on, I shall add a new category “Work Stuff”. I realised it’s time I started work and get down to earning income on my own and I figured that with an attitude like me, complaints about work are inevitable. =D

Ramen Ten and cute cabbie

Went down to The Forum with Fax for an interview with Club 21 just now. But I passed on the interview because I didn’t bring a photograph of myself. Wasn’t interested in Marc Jacobs anyway.

So turned out they weren’t interested in employing students due to their full-time schedule.

Late lunch was settled at Far East’s Ramen Ten. First time dining there. And I swear I love it!!! It’s my next favourite Ramen restaurant after Kobayashi. Hehe. The seaweed is nice. The ramen is nice. The Cha Shu (my order) is nice! The soup IS VERY NICE!! I almost drank up every single drop of it. The soup is salty enough for my taste. =P

Then we went back to his place. Initially he had plans to play basketball with his friend but the court’s lights weren’t switched on. So yea, was just a short walk for Twinkle instead.

When we cabbed home just now, he was singing songs in his own version. It was super funny I couldn’t stop laughing. And the cabbie made a remark about us.

You two are a funny couple. Your girlfriend also very funny. You keep making her laugh. You very good leh. Hard to find such a person nowadays. Can make your girlfriend so happy. I hear you all have so much fun I also drive until very happy.

Something like that lah. Hahaha. He won’t very cute meh, the cabbie? But luckily he wasn’t annoyed lah. I thought he would be annoyed by the two retards behind singing and laughing non stop.

Time flies

It’s amazing to know how long you’ve known this certain friend of yours, and how much memories you all shared in the past years.

Moody moody

Dinner wasn’t at Jumbo. And there isn’t a Jumbo at Sembawang. My mum anyhow say. It was supposed to be Serangoon. -_-

But dinner wasn’t at the desired place either. By the time we left home, it was almost 8pm. Then after picking up Carol, we went to this famous seafood restaurant but there weren’t any parking lots and waiting time was too long.

Sister wasn’t in a good mood. No idea why. Made me abit moody as well. Then mummy’s nagging about the time didn’t make any of us happier.

In the end, we settled for those kopitiam kinda restaurant. The food was ok and very cheap. $45 for 5 people. I ate like 1.5 portion of rice.

After dinner, it was a plunge of emotions.

Shan’t go on. I shall drown myself with games and movies and possibly doze off on my laptop.

Birthday dinner and nokia roadshow

Today is Sis’ birthday. I gave her a birthday card.

姐姐，It’s your [insert age]’s birthday! Say young also not young. Say old also not old. But still able to enjoy life. Hehe. Don’t fret too much. Like this card says, life is too short. Most important is be happy.

Haha. That’s what I wrote in the card. And she sent an sms saying she’s too old for presents and that wishes like this make her day. Awww…

So now I’m waiting for mummy, sis and Carol to come back. Then we’ll all go, including Fax, for dinner at Jumbo Restaurant at Sembawang. Wah seh! I’ll be working on Saturday lah. Need to look notsobloated but tonight’s dinner is gonna cause serious damage.

So yea, I’ll be working on Saturday. Wanjun very nicely asked if I would like to be a promoter at Nokia roadshow this weekend. Pay is really attractive. So I took it. But hor, we gonna wear notsopretty bottoms from Giordano.

The person in charge told us the product code so we could go try out our size and let him know. So I took photos of the bottoms in the fitting room.

For tops, I think we’ll be wearing tops from Nokia. I have NO idea how the combination will look. The berms are ok. But the denim shorts…

I’ve got quite a lot to say.

But I kinda forgot where I’m supposed to start. And I’m very sleepy now.

Oh ya! Saturday and Sunday, I’ll be working. With Eileen, Kaixin and Wanjun. Yeah!!!

More about that later. I wanna sleep.

Fax and his new toy

Yesterday noon, we dropped by Causeway Point because I had cravings for Pastamania. After lunch, we wanted to catch a movie but happened to step into Courts to look at laptops for a while.

Asus was on promo. The specs were good and the notebook looks pretty. And it weighs only 2.3kg for a 14.1″.

After walking around a bit, we returned to Courts for the third time and Fax purchased it.

But I still like Macbook. =( Actually, I like any notebook that isn’t black.

It was quite an impulsive decision to get a brand new laptop. He actually wanted a second-hand one but the promotion was too hard to resist. Hearing that there were only 2 stocks left made him wanna buy it even more.

So now, he’s gotta work harder to maintain this baby. Wahahaha.

So anyway, we were mapling half the day. First at his place, then back at mine.

Twinkle was bored. She nua-ed everywhere she could. Under the dining table (where we mapled), at the gate, beside the sofa, on my lap, at the kitchen door etc.

She’s probably tired since she’s starting to menstruate already. Poor thing.

I should really start working soon. To get anything I want. Wahahahaha. First on the list, a maltese. Then, I might get another laptop. Hehe. =D
