Rats are NOT pets

June 29, 2007 Leave a comment

I had the weirdest dream ever last night.

You see, in my dream, me, my dad and Carol (weird no. 1 – why three of us?) were sitting there doing our own things (weird no. 2 – why will we be doing our own things in the kitchen?) when this friggin’ huge rat with BIG eyes (weird no. 3 – bulging eyes!) crawled into my kitchen from the window (weird no. 4 – like how is a rat supposed to climb up and into the window?) and running around the kitchen.

And then I was telling my dad there was a rat in the kitchen.

He said,

“Rats are pets.” (weird no. 5 – unless you’re a mad scientist who keeps rats for experimental purposes)

After he finished his sentence, he gave the rat a pat (weird no. 6).

Oh gosh!! Who will pat a rat? The fat grey hairy creature.

And before I know it, the rat bit my finger with its sharp teeth.

And then, I woke up.

Mummy goes Genting

The queen is taking a break. And is going for a Genting + Malacca trip later in the morning. The latest she has to leave home is 6am. And she’ll hope onto the coach at Clementi and off she goes.

Play hard, play safe, and be happy Mummy!

Is this gross or what?

Sunday night, I took a cab home from the office at Bendemeer.

It was a long day for me. Slept only 3 hours after overnight mahjong, and continued with work at Lot 1. Finally, returning to the office to return stuff and eat dinner.

So I thought I could rest for a bit in the cab on the way home.

The cab was on the highway then.

I kept my eyes fixed on the left side of the taxi, on the road, just to look far and relax my eyes for a bit.

Until I saw…

Thinking

June 27, 2007 2 comments

I prefer to think positively whenever we quarrel. But sometimes it’s hard to think optimistically without going through a struggle. But nonetheless, I’m gonna make a list of the things he did that made me smile.

  • The ways he made me laugh.
  • That day when he came down to my place from Orchard at almost 1am just to see me.
  • How bad he felt and how he apologised for letting me wait for him for 2 hours.
  • The first kiss.
  • How he scolded Twinkle when she leaped at me and scratched me on my thighs.
  • The time he felt bliss when I fed him porridge.
  • How he turned up at my door step 2 hours before the time he told me when I was sick.
  • How he appreciated my cooking.
  • The time he risked getting scolded by his parents for staying over at my place.
  • The times he sheltered me from the rain with his hands.
  • Everytime he holds my hand tightly while crossing roads or when little dangers are around.
  • How he managed to mix with my friends.
  • The times he tolerated my temper.
  • The times he tolerated my shoppaholic moments.
  • The long walks.
  • The surprise kisses.
  • The gifts he got for me from Bangkok, were all in pairs.
  • The look on his face when I gave him the wallet.
  • The times he fanned the smoke away from me.
  • The times he got angry because of my stupid actions to harm myself ie. drinking.
  • The times he put his head on my shoulder.
  • The times he lied on my lap.
  • How he taught me to play Gunbound.
  • The times he ’sa jiao’ with me.
  • The time he sang the songs I chose for him.
  • The sweet smses.
  • The time he asked me to send him my photos to his hp so that he can see me.
  • The time he rejected going to Thailand for Muay Thai training and went Bangkok for shopping instead.
  • The time he wanted to buy 2 sets of Dopod 818 Pro for both of us.
  • The time he wanted to buy me a pup maltese.
  • Walking Twinkle.
  • The way he laughs.
  • The way he pulled me back and gave me a hug.
  • The times he said sorry.
  • The times he offered food to me.
  • The times he stood beside me while I was washing the dishes.
  • The times he fed me his food.
  • The times he tickled me.
  • His funny faces.
  • The time he took off his jacket cos I was cold.
  • The intentional jealousy.
  • The times he hit my butt and ran away.
  • The DVD nights.
  • The bus ride where we both fell asleep on each other.
  • The times he said goodnight and sleep tight and other sweet things before he went offline.
  • The time he said “its never bye for us”.
  • The time he flooded our msn window with the word BABY.
  • The times he said “i love you”.
  • The time he bought me potato chips on our 2nd month.
  • The times he said “thank you” when he receives a gift from me.

* * * * *

I actually saved the above draft a few months ago when we had a huge tiff. I listed all the sweet moments to remind me of the happy times.

But fucking bullshit! He’s doing the same things to another girl right now!

What exactly happened to me and Fax?

June 25, 2007 14 comments

Some of you already know I’m single or at least noticed I’ve been leading a single life.

My friends always wanted me to stand up for myself! And this is what I’m going to do here and now.

I’ll summarise everything into this post (in a chronological format) and that’s it. It’s history after you finish reading this. But it will sound a bit angry because I ought to let people know what a cheater he can be.

Steamy boat with the choir

June 25, 2007 Leave a comment

I always liked steamboat! Because I’m a soup lover. But marina south’s steamboat places gotta do something to improve their services.

The place was super hot! That’s because we were given a table inside, and not in the open.

Plus, the auntie took forever to come set up the table for us.

But nonetheless, there were non-stop joking and laughing for the choir people of class 2003 and of course, one important person, Desmond. Though he’s not our batch but he’s always hanging out with us. Hahahaha. My papa leh!

We stayed till like almost 11pm. The crowd was almost gone already by then.

Just that this time, the gathering was way smaller than the previous. A lot of them couldn’t make it.

Haiz. Part of growing up. Everyone is either schooling or working.

My funky friends!!

But it’s glad to see even though we’re getting older, we still can have fun. =D

Desmond papa on the top right.

Really miss those times back in secondary. Every Saturday will be choir day and after choir practices, we would hang out at Lot 1 for lunch and proceed on to Kahliang’s place for mahjong.

*sob* Those memories…

DF and the yandao boy

June 24, 2007 3 comments

Friday at DF was really a wise choice. Because the yandao singer was there!

*screams*

I was so hoping he was there because he wasn’t last Friday.

So I put on my $25 dress and left home with a happy mood.

Addicted to DF

June 23, 2007 Leave a comment

Something really funny happened while on my way to work yesterday morning. I was in the train with many other commuters as well. The train was packed, but still with space for moving around with some elbowing and jolting.

And so I was leaning against the door, looking down to the floor. Obviously I was gloomy lah. And tired. That’s why I kept my face down to steal a few seconds of sleep sometimes. So suddenly, this guy who was standing in front of me tapped me arm and showed me his handphone.

“Hello… Can we make friends?”

Unless he’s Ben from DF, I wouldn’t bother. And please, whoever even uses this method anymore nowadays?

Working at the roadshow at Raffles was fun. My partner’s cute, according to Wanjun and some others, and I’m honoured to be working with him. Mummy dropped by both days during her lunch and even got her colleagues to come show support for the lucky draw.

Thanks, Mummy and your colleagues! Also, thanks for helping us buy water. Lol.

So if you actually read the comments of my previous post, Wanjun is upset that I have a new partner. Or is she jealous? Hehe I don’t know. But it’s for temporary only ma.

DF’s like my second home already. I feel so attached to it after going there for 3 times.

And I saw the singer again. He was there last night. And God he’s so cute! This time, I took photos.

Photos tonight.

New partner

June 21, 2007 2 comments

Yeah, so I guess Hector knew that my performance isn’t good if I were to be paired up with my last partner on Sunday. So he got me a new partner today at Raffles Place.

Fyi, the roadshow was at Chevron House today and will still be tomorrow. Lucky draw at 1pm so in case you guys drop by there, do take a look.

And yup, my new partner today was a guy. I mean, he is a guy lah. First time got a male partner. But he’s funny. And the male promoters look really cute in that jump suit. He refused to let me take a photo of him. I wanted to show Alvin a photo of what he’ll be wearing this weekend, but too bad lah. Can only see it on Saturday.

Ya so, Ivan motivated us today by asking us to get as many people to take part in the lucky draw and the team with the highest number of lucky draw coupons submitted will get additional pay. It’s an attractive amount, I must say. But sometimes it’s not as easy as it seems. Engaging people to our demonstration of the phone is easy, but I cannot guarantee that they will take part in the lucky draw.

Oh well, if it’s mine, it will be. Hahaha. But still must work harder! So partner, work hard k? Aiya, I doubt he will read my blog also. We only know each other’s names. Lol.

I’m in a pretty good mood today because I was wearing my newly-purchased skirt from Bugis street. Hahaha.

Couldn’t meet up with Su Lian just now because she wasn’t feeling too well after donating blood. Take care girl. See you very soon! =)

Was having a random conversation with Hector just now about donating blood. And he was asking if I was able to donate blood and stuff. Not that he’s that kind-hearted to do such an act, but he was just being kpo. So I told him I’m underweight. And he burst into laughters. -.-

How amusing.

And he was damn shocked after I told him my weight. Haha.

Ya so lunch was with Hector and Shawn (another guy from the company). Is it them or is it the work that makes them seem so… interesting? Hmmm…

Yadda yadda yadda.

I guess some of you guys know what’s really happened to me these days. Will blog about it when I feel like it. Just let me be happy a bit longer ok?

Oh yes, and I met Eileen on the LRT this morning while on the way to work. Oh I miss you girl!! =( That girl got the urge to cry when she saw me. Now I think back, I also feel like crying. But she’s at a camp. Be waiting for your return. Hehe.
