Working it out with Kinect

So LA bought Xbox Kinect on Friday night but we didn’t have the chance to set it up because we were on a mission to help Mao set up his proposal to ask Emily for her hand.

Indirectly I guess we were all proposing to her too.

The entire W company was awaiting Mao’s instructions that night while gathered nearby Emily’s. Had less than 30 minutes to set up the place where he was gonna pop the question.

The rest helped with the props. Balloons, candles, lighters, gifts, torch light (cos the place was pitch dark) and whatsnot.

We had the whole thing filmed on tape and I snapped non stop. I just gotta find time to edit the pictures.

And of course the plan went pretty well despite how rushed it was in order to not let Emily suspect a thing.

And I’m glad to say these two lovebirds are engaged! Woot!

Must prepare ang bao for their wedding in August very soon.

That was Friday night.

We slept really late considering the late night supper and chats we had near Mao’s place. Woke up in the noon to get down to LA’s nephew, Jzavier’s, birthday chalet at NSRCC.

Nua-ed there till sing song cut cake. I had a really bad time there cos there so many kids around. Too noisy too annoying. They played with balloons and made so much mess with the party poppers. One of his niece, who almost popped the thing in my face, had a crying spree earlier that evening over every single thing. I would have slapped her if she was my daughter. Hazardous beings. Stay away from kids, I told myself.

Besides that, I think NSRCC has very pretty chalets. Shall plan a chalet stayover soon!

We got home and set up kinect. Started out with Kinect Adventures. Quite fun. Made us sweat.

The next day we had quick lunch and went to buy more games – K Sports and K Shape Your Body. Dance Central was out of stock

I swear K Sports is damn fun! Bowling, beach volleyball, table tennis was what I tried. I confirm got potential in these sports, particularly beach volleyball lor. Hahaha. LA tried all including soccer, boxing, track and field. He even played network with a friend.

I sat there watching him and laughed my fats away cos you tend to look stupid while playing. Haha. Kinect creators are out to make their players look stupid, that’s for sure. But apart from that, the money wasn’t wasted. I’m sure we’ll continue playing it and exercising at the same time.

PS. My arms are totally aching from all the exercises. So is LA. Then it’s counterpain to the rescue! Woot!
